The center was established in the early 1990s, at the initiative of His Excellency Sheikh Hassan bin Mohammed bin Ali Al Thani, as part of a vision that values art and seeks to spread artistic taste in cultural life
For 25 years, the center has been providing an artistic environment that contributes to giving artists-in-residence a common space to create, exchange experiences and ideas, and enrich the creative scene in Qatar and the Arab world.
