Strengthening Cultural Relations Between Qatar and Egypt: A Distinguished Meeting Between Sheikh Hassan bin Mohammed Al Thani and Dr. Ahmed Fouad Henno

At the conclusion of his official visit to the State of Qatar, His Excellency Sheikh Hassan bin Mohammed bin Ali Al Thani, Cultural Affairs Advisor at Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development and General Supervisor of the Documentation and Research Department at the Amiri Diwan, welcomed His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Fouad Henno, Egypt’s Minister of Culture, during an important meeting held at the Qatar Fine Arts Center.

This meeting provided an opportunity to discuss ways to enhance cultural cooperation between Qatar and Egypt, focusing on areas of documentation, cultural heritage preservation, and the exchange of expertise — reflecting both nations' commitment to advancing the Arab cultural landscape and reinforcing its role in societal development. The meeting also included a presentation of Qatar’s pioneering initiatives and projects that highlight cultural diversity and artistic richness. Dr. Henno praised the high quality of the artistic displays and the Foundation’s clear dedication to national identity, heritage, and creative innovation.
